The Power of HR to Lead Where Others Fear to Go

This session will focus on a specific organizational change model that places the HR function in a critical leadership role. The burden of change, typically, rests with managers who have the positional authority to make things happen. The resistance to embrace a planned change approach is a by-product of the day-to-day distractions that prevent looking beyond the cubicle. The HR function has the unique role of operating across the various organizational disciplines as a way of getting things done. There is power in recognizing the importance of how cross-disciplinary influence can be used to achieve organizational objectives. While change is a fearful activity to embrace, HR has the opportunity to lead with influence and control the anxiety that comes with managing through the unknown.

In this interactive session, we’ll unpack the forces of disengagement that serve to limit individual and organizational well-being, productivity, and success, and delve into a practical and effective sequence of steps to help resolve them.
